THE JOURNEY
Our entrepreneurship journey began for us in the year 2008, when we decided to quit our respective jobs after more than a decade each, of working in the hotel & hospitality industry. Our very first venture "Freespirits Holidays" was born and we were like newly baptized parents trying to understand the nuances of the travel industry from the other side of the spectrum. We ended up working with lot of travel partners and realized that resources and technology was limiting them from online presence, similarly a lot of our client would ask us for options and offers to travel, so we decided to bring our travel partners and clients together on a common platform and thus “ Holidaymine “ was conceptualized.
THE PRODUCT
An online holiday marketplace that enables small and large travel partners, hotels and other leisure travel providers to come together on a “single common platform” and offer the best deals on Holidays. Our guests get to search & book their choice of holidays easily without having to juggle between sites for price comparison, reviews and ideas.

FOUNDERS
Romel Mahaldar (Founder)
Romel has accumulated over 13 years of rich experience in the Hotel Operations, Hotel Sales & the Travel Industry. He has been associated with hotels like Marriott, Intercontinental & Hyatt and also spear headed, a German E-Commerce company, as their Country Manager. While there he led the team, to initiate and develop their travel section on a few online platforms in India. He was also actively involved in developing the Sales strategy for a Lifestyle company which dealt with HNI's. As technology advisor and voice of the company, he works closely with travel partners in forging new alliances and develop a user friendly site.
Lochana Shetty Mahaldar (Co-Founder)
An advertising & marketing person, Lochana has over 15 years of travel domain expertise by being associated with some of best hotel brands like ITC Grand Maratha & Park Hyatt. She also gained her experience in the corporate world by working with brands like RKHS & Sodexo. Being a process oriented and creatively inclined she puts her thoughts into action by constantly building a strong operational backend for the company and heads people management and marketing at Holidaymine.
TEAM
Our team is like a "Rainbow" with a vivid spectrum of colors, but with a common goal of offering an experience of a lifetime to every holiday seeker. Being able to agree upon the same goals, but with different attitudes and outlook has helped us give, a range of perspective to the same thing at every single step. We are still working on what more we can add to make "Holidaymine.com" the best holiday shopping experience for you. And yes we are absolutely open to suggestions.
