Introduction:

Tehri is one of the largest districts in the Indian state of Uttarkhand. This district is considered to be one of holiest places, and it is located in the foothills of the Himalayan mountain range. Tehri is an important and the only planned city of Uttarkhand.

Dhanaulti:
Covered with forests of deodar, rhododendron and oak. Dhanaulti houses the famous Surkanda Devi temple where Lord Shiva dropped the remains of Goddess Sati.

Devprayag:
The last of the 'Panch Prayag', Devprayag is set at the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers. The town lies on the Rishikesh-Badrinath Char Dham route.

Chandrabadani Devi:
One of the Shaktipeeths. It is an important religious site.
