Ahmedabad: It is the largest city and former capital of Gujarat. It is the administrative headquarters of the Ahmedabad district and the seat of the Gujarat High Court. Ahmedabad is located on the banks of the Sabarmati River, 30 km (19 mi) from the state capital Gandhinagar.

Sasangir: The only wildlife sanctuary that houses the Asiatic Lion, the Gir National Park and Lion Sanctuary, is collectively known as the Gir Protected Area. It is also known as Sansan Gir. It is situated in the Junagadh district. Gir stretches with scrub and grassland, dry deciduous forest and some marshland. Besides lions, Gir harbors other wildlife such as antelope deer, leopards, hyenas, crocodiles, and jackals, along with a spectacular array of birds. Birds in the park include the Paradise Flycatcher, Bonelli's Eagle and Painted Sandgrouse. 

Somnath: A city on the west coast of India in the Junagadh district. The Somnath Temple located in the Prabhas Kshetra near Veraval is the most sacred of the twelve Jyotirlings (lingas of light) of the God Shiva. It is the first Jyotirling. Somnath means "The Protector of (the) Moon God". The Somnath Temple is known as "the Shrine Eternal", having been destroyed many times by various kings and rulers. 

Dwarka: The capital of the kingdom of Lord Krishna, is one the frequently visited places for tourists in India.
