Jamnagar: The Jewel of Kathiawar, is on the coast of Gulf of Kutch in the state of Gujarat. Until its merger with the Indian Union after independence, Nawanagar was one of more important princely states of Saurastra. The capital was Jamnagar, which now gives the districts its name.

Dwarka: The capital of the kingdom of Lord Krishna, is one the frequently visited places for tourists in India. Apart from having a religious connection to it, lot of mythology is interwoven into the royal city of Dwarka. Dwarkadhish Temple is one of the four major pilgrimages of the Hindus.
