Getting There
By Air

Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport (SXR), Srinagar, is well connected with all major Airports via Direct and Indirect flights. All airlines in India have their services in Srinagar city.

By Rail

The nearest railhead is Jammu from where Srinagar City is a comfortable and scenic 5 - 7 hrs drive (265 km).

The Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway is under development and will provide direct train connectivity to Srinagar soon.

By Road

Srinagar is well connected by road from rest of India via NH 44 highway which is approximately 5 -7 hrs (265 kms) from Jammu and 18 to 20 hrs from Delhi.


Day 1
Arrival in Srinagar – Shikara Ride and Leisure (12 km / 30 mins from airport)

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to a houseboat or hotel. Later, enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride on Dal Lake, drifting past floating gardens, traditional houseboats, and vibrant lotus plantations. Spend the evening at leisure, soaking in the picturesque scenery.

Day 2
Srinagar – Sonmarg Excursion – Srinagar (80 km / 2.5 hrs one way)

After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Sonmarg, also known as the Meadow of Gold.The journey takes you along the Sindh River, offering breathtaking views of pine forests and rugged mountain peaks. Sonmarg serves as a gateway to high-altitude treks and glaciers. You can opt for a pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier (optional, direct payment basis), where you can witness snow even in summer. Adventure seekers can enjoy white-water rafting on the Sindh River (seasonal, direct payment basis). Return to Srinagar in the late afternoon and spend the evening at leisure.

Tip: It is advisable to leave early in the morning to maximize your time at Sonmarg and avoid traffic congestion on the route.

Day 3
Srinagar to Pahalgam (95 km / 3 hrs) – Valley of Shepherds

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Pahalgam, a stunning valley known for its pine forests, apple orchards, and the Lidder River. En route, visit the Saffron Fields of Pampore, where you can witness the process of saffron cultivation. Explore the Awantipura Ruins, an 11th-century Vishnu temple built by King Avantivarman. Stop by the Apple Orchards and Cricket Bat Factory to see how Kashmiri Willow bats are crafted and purchase an authentic bat as a souvenir. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check in at the hotel and enjoy the scenic surroundings.

Tip: Ensure that the saffron is pure by checking for flower stamens inside the box and not just threads.Bargaining is recommended, especially when purchasing in bulk for gifting.

Pahalgam – Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and River Rafting

Wake up to the pristine beauty of Pahalgam and begin your local exploration after breakfast. Visit Aru Valley, a charming destination surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush greenery, ideal for nature walks and pony rides. Continue to Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood movie Betaab, where you will find a blend of lush meadows, dense forests, and a crystal-clear river. For adventure enthusiasts, river rafting on the Lidder River is an exciting option, offering Grade I–III rapids.

Tip: Keep a change of clothes handy if participating in rafting.

Pahalgam to Srinagar – Local Sightseeing (95 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and enjoy a leisurely morning, soaking in the scenic beauty of Pahalgam and the Lidder River. If time permits, visit any remaining sights before driving back to Srinagar. Upon arrival, check into a hotel and embark on a full-day city tour. Visit the revered Shankaracharya Temple, perched atop a hill with panoramic views of Srinagar. Explore the famous Mughal Gardens, including Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, where the beautifully landscaped gardens and fountains provide a serene escape. Depending on the season, visit the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Asia’s largest tulip garden, open in April. Later, explore the vibrant local markets at Lal Chowk and Polo View Market, where you can shop for authentic Kashmiri handicrafts, Pashmina shawls, carpets, and dry fruits.

Take the world-famous Gulmarg Gondola ride (optional, direct payment basis), one of the highest cable cars in the world, which takes you to Apharwat Peak for stunning views of snow-covered landscapes. Pony rides to Khilanmarg offer additional scenic beauty, while winter months bring opportunities for skiing and snowboarding. Spend the day exploring the beauty of Gulmarg at your own pace.

In the event of any changes to hotels, room categories, or deviations from the confirmed itinerary made by the client, any additional expenses incurred will be payable in full by the client directly to local operators hotels, or activity providers.

Summer Travel Essentials (March – September) | Temperature: 15°C to 30°C Clothing: Light cotton outfits for daytime, a fleece jacket for cool evenings. Winter Travel Essentials (November – February) | Temperature: -2°C to 10°C

Clothing: Heavy woolens, thermals, a padded waterproof jacket. Footwear: Waterproof snow boots to walk comfortably on icy surfaces. Accessories: Woolen socks, gloves, a cap/muffler, and sunglasses (for snow glare). Skincare & Health: Moisturizer, lip balm, sunscreen, personal medications, and hand warmers. Extras: Power bank, thermal flask, and a small first-aid kit. For Snow Activities: Waterproof gloves and pants, skiing/snowboarding gear (or rent in Gulmarg).

Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations received upto 30 days prior to arrival will be fully refundable
  • Cancellation received between 30 days and 15days will be subjected to 10% of tour cost
  • Between 15 - 10 days of departure: 35% of tour cost will be deducted.
  • Less than 10 days or No Show will be subjected to 100% amount.
  • Any Cancellation which is result of Natural or Political problem will be refundable, subjected to local suppliers approval.

  • GST @ 5% will be applicable on the total bill as per government regulations.
  • Prices quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.
  • Hotel Check-in & Check-out Policy: Check-in is between 12:00 PM & 3:00 PM, and check-out is between 10:00 AM & 12:00 PM (timings may vary by hotel).
  • ID Proof Requirement: As per government norms, all guests must present a valid photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) at the time of check-in. PAN Card is not accepted as ID proof. Children must also carry an identity card for check-in formalities.
  • Room Category & Availability: The offer is based on base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless stated otherwise). If unavailable, we will provide the next available category and incase of any additional charges applicable, the same will be communicated well in advance before confirmation of final package.
  • Transportation Policy: The vehicle will be provided strictly as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal for additional use.
  • Cancellation & Refund: Refunds will be processed as per the applicable cancellation policy & terms.
  • Peak Season Supplement: Supplementary charges will apply for bookings during long weekends, public holidays, and festival periods such as Diwali, Christmas, and New Year.

  • Any extra charges arising due to local strikes, medical emergencies, or government regulations will be billed separately and must be paid directly by the client.
  • If there is an increase in entrance fees for monuments/museums, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges due to government regulations, the additional amount will be charged accordingly.

Force Majeure

Holidaymine and its representatives shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, acts of God, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, civil disturbances, terrorist activities, or flight cancellations. In the event of such occurrences, any additional costs incurred will be borne by the client, and refunds (if applicable) will be subject to the policies of respective service providers, including hotels, airlines, and local transport operators.
